A website in 24 hours: what is realistic

Many web designers quote weeks for a small business site, and they are not padding the number: writing the code is the short part. Here's what a 24-hour build can include and how it compares with published estimates.

Simpalm updated its guide on September 21, 2026, and Digital Auxilius on July 14, 2026.

Where the weeks go

Two of the guides above name the same culprit. Digital Auxilius estimates that a six-week project might contain only 80 hours of actual work; the rest is waiting on feedback, coordinating revisions and scheduling calls.

  • Content. Elementor calls waiting for the client's final text and images the number one bottleneck, and says writing, sourcing and approving content often takes longer than design and build combined.
  • Approvals. Digital Auxilius advises keeping the approval chain short and giving feedback in one consolidated round instead of a drip of changes.

What to have ready before you fill out the brief

The more you have ready at the start, the sooner the site goes live. Have these at hand:

  1. business name, address, opening hours, phone and email;
  2. your services, with prices or price ranges;
  3. your logo and a few photos, if you have them;
  4. two or three websites you like;
  5. access to your domain, or a decision on which domain to buy.

How a 24-hour site works

Fill out a short brief to get an exact price within 15 minutes. The 24-hour clock starts with my email confirming I have the agreed scope and all your materials. If you don't have the text, I'll write it from your brief.

A one-page site or a site of four to eight pages is live within 24 hours of my email confirming I have everything. You see the finished site live and pay only after that. If you don't like it, you pay nothing. If I miss the 24-hour deadline, the agreement is canceled and you owe nothing.

Example: WNR Group

WNR Group is an employment agency in Warsaw. The brief arrived on September 21, 2026, and the home page was online for the client about two hours later.

The whole project took longer than a day: 57 pages, 19 each in Polish, Ukrainian and English. The other pages, the panel and the articles followed over the next two days. On September 23 the site moved to wnrgroup.work, the client's own domain.
