Marsh Point: selling the plan without hiding the uncertainty
Demonstration build · landing page · Charleston, SC · see the build
Marsh Point is a demonstration build, not a commissioned development website. No unit, reservation, resident quote or construction milestone is represented as real. The page is an interface example built around a realistic property-development brief.
The brief we set ourselves
A new condominium project beside marshland needs to answer the concerns that glossy renders normally avoid: elevation, flood exposure, what is included, how plans compare, where construction stands and which facts may still change. The visitor's action is to join a waitlist only after those constraints are visible.
Decisions that shaped the page
- The building section precedes lifestyle copy. The engineering question is the trust question, so it appears early.
- Floor plans use a common visual scale. Comparisons should not make a smaller plan look larger through illustration tricks.
- Changeable facts are marked. A planned date or finish is not written as if construction has already delivered it.
- The reservation path explains itself. A waitlist is not presented as ownership, payment or guaranteed availability.
