Harbor House: a property page that starts with the coast
Demonstration build · landing page · Portland, ME · see the build
Harbor House Realty is a demonstration build we made ourselves. It is not a real client engagement. The houses, agents and review space are examples used to demonstrate the interface; the page itself labels sample listings as samples.
The brief we set ourselves
A coastal real-estate firm needs to show that local knowledge is more than a harbour photograph. A buyer should be able to browse example homes, filter the list, understand which coastal records deserve attention and book a showing without mistaking demonstration inventory for live listings.
Decisions that shaped the page
- Due diligence is the differentiator. Weather, water, septic, flood documentation and island transport explain what local representation actually changes.
- Examples are labelled before the cards. The disclosure prevents a demonstration address or price from becoming a false availability claim.
- Filters reduce browsing work. The visitor can narrow the inventory while remaining on the same page.
- One showing action follows the details. The page turns interest into a specific next step instead of a generic contact request.
