Before the day starts

The door opens at half past five, Monday to Friday, and at half past six on Saturday. That is early enough for the first shift, the first train and the people who would rather have their coffee before anyone talks to them.

Coffee is the thing people rate first, and the tea selection gets its own mention in the reviews. If you are in a hurry there is a quick bite to take with you; if you are not, sit down and let the morning catch up.

Order at the counter. Cards, debit or credit, and contactless from a phone all work.

Later in the morning

Breakfast, brunch and lunch run until half past two. Healthy options for those who want them, something sweet for those who do not, and a kids’ menu so nobody has to share.

People come here to eat alone and to work on a laptop, and both are perfectly normal. Dogs are welcome. The entrance, the parking and the seating all work for a wheelchair.

Feeding a group? Catering is on the list. Ask at the counter or ring the café.

Questions we get at the counter

What time do you open?

Half past five in the morning, Monday to Friday; half past six on Saturday. Last orders at half past two in the afternoon.

Are you open on Sunday?

No. Sunday is the one day off. Saturday runs from half past six, so plan the weekend coffee for then.

Do you deliver?

No. Dine in or take away. Catering is available for groups, so ask at the counter if you are feeding more than yourself.

Where do I park?

There is free parking and free street parking, and usually plenty of it. A paid lot is nearby as well if the free spots are gone.

Can I sit and work for a while?

Yes. The listing marks it as good for working on a laptop and good for eating on your own. Nobody will hurry you.

Is there table service?

No. Order at the counter, then take a seat. It keeps the queue moving at half past five.

Kids and dogs?

Both welcome. There is a kids’ menu, and dogs are allowed.

How do I pay?

Credit card, debit card, or contactless from a phone or watch.

Is it wheelchair accessible?

Yes. The entrance, the parking and the seating are all listed as wheelchair accessible.
